VLC web interface for iPhone

This is what I've been working on today. It's a web interface to control VLC media player from one's iPhone. It looks (and is) very rudimentary (lower buttons don't do anything yet), but it is far more usable than the default web interface VLC comes with. It is also more battery efficient since the AJAX requests are only made when the user pushes a button (it doesn't update any status so it doesn't need to make requests every second).
I will probably continue to work on it since I want to be able to provide more functions that the free VLC Remote App from AppStore. The webapp is based on webapp.net mini-framework. This interface also replaces the default one VLC comes with, but I'll deal with that tomorrow.
Time to test it now with a good movie.

Mai jos sunt două exemple dintr-un mod nou de a face reclamă pe siteuri. Aici este al treilea exemplu (de data asta unul real și nu filmat), este vorba de reclamă la Nintendo Wii.
What's new in Firefox 3.1
Two thing happened today almost simultaneously: first I found out that Firefox has reached the all time high usage of 20% and second, I noticed a new tab switcher.
First things first, according to TG Daily Firefox is at 19.97% market share. The big Firefox share can only make us happy since Firefox is one of the browsers that complies very well with the web standards.
Second thing, while browsing today with Firefox 3.1 Beta 1 from under Windows XP (I rarely use windws since I'm a linux guy) I noticed a new tab switcher in Firefox 3.1 Beta 1. The dark, vista like switcher looks kinda cool, offering previews of the tabbed sites, I guess it's a response to Opera's tab preview function. Image below.

Integrare Facebook-Microsoft
Pentru cei care nu știu încă, Facebook este parțial deținută de Microsoft și începând de astăzi utilizatorii de facebook (printre care și eu) vor avea parte de căutări îmbunătățite de Microsoft printr-un fel de LiveSearch care aduce și ceva mai multă reclamă. Ce trebuie înțeles din această mișcare a Microsoft este că îmbunătățește puțin Facebook și din cauza faptului că ne oferă reclamă îl supără puțin pe Google care în foarte puțin timp ar putea scoate încă un produs inovator care să ne folosească la toți.
