Are you prepared for the Nuclear fallout?
I've found a nice, black and white 60s series of TV spots advising people how to better protect themselves from the nuclear fallout that occurs after a nuclear bomb detonation. Am găsit o serie foarte frumoasă, în alb-negru de spoturi TV din anii 60, spoturi care sfătuiesc oamenii cum să se protejeze mai bine de căderea radiațiilor nucleare care are loc după detonarea unei bombe nucleare.It's rather odd to see those spots and thinkg of the period of time when people lived expecting a nuclear bomb to fall at any time. Of course, us, romanians, had nothing to fear of, we were in our mostly agricultural and under developed country at that time, nobody would have had a reason to throw a nuclear bomb on us.
I find very interresting the way the movie was created with the aid of string puppets and, despite the very simple technology they used, they managed to transmit very well all the information. Click here to see the spots.
E destul de ciudat să văd spoturile astea și să îmi imaginez o perioadă când oamenii se așteptau ca din moment în moment să le cadă o bombă nucleară. Desigur, noi, românii, nu aveam de ce să ne temem, eram în țara noastră majoritar agricolă și subdezvoltată, nimeni n-ar fi avut un motiv să arunce o bombă nucleară pe noi.
Mi se pare foarte interesant felul în care filmul a fost realizat cu ajutorul unor păpuși manevrate cu sfori și, în ciuda tehnologiei foarte simple pe care au folosit-o în crearea spoturilor, au reușit să transmită foarte bine toate informațiile. Clic aici pentru a vedea spoturile.
